I would like to provide you with the latest update further to previous communications on COVID-19.
I am forwarding the below statement from Pun Hlaing Estate (PHE) which confirms the Estate will be extending the period of lockdown status (Level 2) from Monday 4th May until Sunday 17th May when we hope we can relax precautionary measures and allow non-residents entry on Monday 18 May 2020. Residents are also reminded to adhere to the Curfew protocol as imposed by the Yangon Regional Government until Thursday 18 June 2020.
Statement from Pun Hlaing Estate:
Community Notification: COVID-19 Response - Curfew and Semi-Lockdown notice
This stance is due to a steady increase in the number of COVID-19 positive cases and some of which in the nearby neighbourhood of Hlaing Tharyar. So this stance will significantly reduce the amount of external entries in to PHE which it is hoped will help prevent any further spreading. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause but at this uncertain time of crisis we hope that you will understand this precautionary and temporary measure is for the safety and better of all concerned.
I can confirm for those who remained in Yangon and cannot access the Golf Course during this period that your renewal date of membership will be adjusted accordingly.
Stay safe, keep the best hygiene and thank you for your continued support at this challenging time.
